A great strategy to get your book published is to blog your book. Blogging your book can help alleviate writer’s block and blank page syndrome. So how can blogging your next Kindle book help you accomplish all this?

Well, just think about it. Not only is your spontaneous creative nature going to be tested to the absolute limits, but as long as you’re planning on gaining even a handful of steady readers, you’re not going to have to worry about missing deadlines or procrastinating ever again.

The sky’s the limit really, and there really is something to be said about the level of compatibility and intimacy you’ll be able to establish with your readers. You could even go so far as to let them suggest possible directions for the story to go in the end-of-chapter comments if you’re blogging a fictional book.

Fortunately, following a few helpful (and thankfully simple) tips outlined in this here post will give you a leg up on the venture and hopefully, at the very least, get you pointed blogging in the right direction!

>> So Do You Want to Blog a Book? Or Package Up a Book From Your Blog?

When it’s all said and done, it more or less boils down to this main decision for you. And before you can even conceivably answer it effectively or accurately, you must first map out and identify what kind of book or blog or book-blog you’re ultimately interested in producing.

Let’s take a self-help blog for instance, and use our magical powers of pretend to imagine that you’d been writing for this particular blog for this past year or so. Fortunately, self-help and self-motivation was a topic of particular interest to you, and it shined through in your exceptionally in-depth, informative and super-entertaining posts. Before long, you had a moderately sized and loyal readership – nothing crazy, but certainly nothing to be ashamed of either.

Now, since you’ve already established a moderately sized cadre of readers, we can assume that most of them are pretty loyal. Loyal to the point where, if you took a bunch of your “best of” posts, packaged them with all-new, enticing or controversial content and packaged it all up into a book, they’d at the very least think about purchasing your book.

>> Making People Care about Something That Technically Doesn’t Even Exist Yet

The other main option you have here is to literally start up writing a new book on a blog from scratch. This is usually best accomplished by posting chapters every few days or so, along with an accompanying (and well thought out) viral marketing campaign to get the word out to the masses. The biggest challenge here – at least if you’re just starting out as a Kindle book author at least – is to not only attract visitors to your book blog-a-thon, but also create repeat visitors.

It’s not necessarily a loyal readership that’s as important to this latter instance then simply your reputation and renown throughout the industry. It’s a lot easier to create buzz and get people talking about your blogging your new book – people who in turn have a loyal readership who will read about you on their site and in turn trickle down to your new project’s abode – when you’ve already proven that you’re the real deal.

While this is a brief overview of blogging strategies for publishing, hopefully you can see the possibilities.
